Tibet, a Shaman and

The story of Yogi Nectar and its founders began in Tokyo when the family decided to learn about methods of holistic treatment to maintain their health. A friend of theirs, a Shaman from Moscow, shared his knowledge about live probiotic kefir culture that changed their lives.
When their daughter developed a severe skin condition for which traditional medicine offered no cure, they turned to the healing elements of their live probiotic kefir. Their daughter’s skin was healed within 10 days of applying it. This profound experience sparked a deep desire to share the benefits of the kefir.
Since 2007 Edna Dafna, the founder of Yogi Nectar, has been learning to master the growth, and harness the power of the original live kefir probiotic culture, drawing from the wisdom of the Tibetan Monks, the original keepers of this potent probiotic live culture. Dr Eales from Southern Cross University has conducted microbiological studies of our kefir grains and found a diverse range of Lactobacillus that include L.fermentum and L.plantarum as well as Sporolactobacillus inulinus. Those strains survive the harsh gastric acid present in the gut, unlike 95% of other probiotics products available.

We are marketing Yogi Nectar by reflecting the products unique blend of modern and ancient health wisdom and the modern fascination with beauty and optimising health with a focus on relationships with ambassadors and influencers that have shared values and personal brands.
Instagram, growing in popularity and a favourite for women, is an ideal social media platform for Yogi Nectar. It is a highly effective platform for food brands, and health influencers and just the right mix to leverage exposure and customer demand for Yogi Nectar drinks.
Our initial strategy for Instagram is to develop strong relationships with national and international influencers around the world as the products distribution increases. These will be both paid relationships and unpaid (support in exchange for product).
Additionally we will be doing giveaways and collaborative campaigns with other Byron Bay based brands.
We will also be using Linkedin for B2B development using Edna’s profile to shed light on the growing science behind the incredible effects of Kefir and her unique and highly transformative product. This will be done by sharing information with our new accounts and stockists and working in close collaboration with our growing wholesale distribution network in each state. We continue to add value by passing on credible new information and studies as they are released on the health benefits of Kefir.
